Seasoned investigator recruited to St. Joseph's Health Centre from the University of Toronto 17 years ago to develop a research program in the then new area of magnetic resonance imaging.
Completed his doctoral studies in the medical imaging group headed by Harold Johns and Aaron Fenster.
Pioneered research in the application of phosphorus and proton in vivo magnetic resonance spectroscopy in brain and cardiac disease.
Currently chairs the American Association of Physicists in Medicine's task group on magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
Many funded external collaborations with clinicians and basic scientists including the US and Australia. Awarded the UWO Faculty of Medicine's Team Award.
20 published/submitted papers, 3 book chapters, and 33 abstracts published over the last 5 years.
